Paddy is the main agricultural produce of the state. There is a extensive mechanism for procurement of paddy involving the networks of RMCs market yards and Primary Agricultural Cooperatives as temporary market yards. At present different agencies approved by state government are procuring paddy at 425 RMCs Market yards and 1630 PACS.
